Description: A down-to-the-studs whole house remodel

The family acquired a multi-generational home site in the early 1900s. Over time, three homes have occupied the corner lot, with the most recent constructed in 1947. This remodel retained the original structure of the home, but updated nearly every surface.

The exterior cedar rainscreen was wire brushed to highlight the siding's texture, and the window and door systems were carefully integrated with the exterior board and batten patterning.

A new dual-sided wood-burning masonry fireplace creates ambiance in the living room with built-in firewood storage, while the exterior facing fire box provides a gathering area on the stone terrace around the home.
