Description: A full bathroom remodel with new windows and skylight

A 1920's bungalow bathroom restoration that looks to capture the simple pleasure and peace of mind to be surrounded by wood and water.

The fir was sequenced and hand-selected from various lots of lumber to ensure the finest grain patterns. The upright pieces of the wainscot were biscuit jointed to the top rail and baseboard to maintain a flat, uniform appearance with minimal need for fasteners. The salvaged door sets the rhythm of the woodwork, an upper wraparound shelf adds a place to adorn the bath and caps the generous window to the garden. The engineered fir floor is set on marine grade plywood.
